We will have our second character traits celebration this Friday, January 29th, 2010 at 2:15 in our classroom (room 408.)  The students who will be recognized at this celebration are Santino, Rawad, Victoria, Chris, Alexis, Jake, Mohsin, Tucker, and Devin.  Parents of these children are welcome to attend!

There will not be any spelling words the week of 12/14-12/18.

The book fair will be held here at OCE the week of November 2nd-6th.  We will be going as a class to preview the books on Tuesday, November 3rd.  Those students who decide to purchase books will be returning to the book fair on Thursday, November 5th.  Please make sure your child brings his/her money to school on that date if they wish to purchase books.  No books will be purchased on Tuesday, November 3rd.

We will be having a reading celebration this Friday afternoon to celebrate the end of our first reading challenge.  It would be a big help if you could send in items such as popcorn, chex mix, cookies, soda, and juice.  We could also use some napkins, cups, and paper plates.  Please respond to the email I sent or just respond on the blog.  Thanks for everything you do for your kids!
